Well, I use it to describe my computer, blog, and tumblr.

I love them as I love purple.
The name “Purple Ink” was first given to my blog.
Yes. the blog you’re currently reading.
Then, why does it contain “Purple” and “Ink”?
I love purple. And this blog is a place for my written thoughts.
So I call it Purple Ink.

Mencoba Unit Testing pada Visual Studio 2008

Percobaan ini saya lakukan sebagai persiapan untung melakukan pengujian pada project yang sedang saya kerjakan.
Langkah-langkah ini sebenarnya bisa dilihat disini, namun saya mencoba menulisnya dengan kata-kata saya sendiri.
Langkah-langkah yang sudah saya coba:

1.  Buka Visual Studio 2008, buat sbuah Project Class Library dengan nama “VSTSDemo”. Setelah di-load, rename file.cs yang ada menjadi LognInfo.cs, sehingga code juga berubah menyesuaikan dengan nama file tersebut. Kemudian, buat dan save code sederhana berikut ini:

Berawal dari keisengan campur-campur bahan ga jelas saat SD, saya mulai tertarik untuk coba masak (dulu sih belum dibolehin, cuma boleh bantu ngupas bawang aja XD). Kadang juga suka nyuri-nyuri bikin masakan aneh dari bumbu-bumbu instant (kecap, sambel dkk).

Sejak kuliah, baru deh selama liburan panjang saya mulai rutin masak masakan beneran. Siapa yang ngajarin? tentunya oleh ibu tercinta . Tapi, saya dan ibu jarang masak bareng di dapur, paling ibu cuma ngasih instruksi apa saja yang harus saya lakukan, sisanya ya improvisasi saya sendiri di dapur.

Sejauh ini, jenis masakan yang paling senang saya buat ialah tumis-tumisan. Kenapa? soalnya ga banyak pake peralatan dapur, males nyucinya XD. Selain itu, langkah-langkah pembuatannya juga mudah. Berikut ini saya jelaskan:

I will only comment on the earlier slides, which focus on testing in general.

Palmer explained in his slide that matters cause testing become fails are:
- Building products is a higher priority
- Testing is perceived as a cost center
- Testing takes too long or is too difficult
- Tests become outdated

Testing? What is testing?
Well, testing is the act of subjecting to experimental tests in order to determine how well something works. (wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn)

How about software testing?
It’s also easy to define; the act of subjecting to experimental tests in order to determine how well a software/system works.

But why is it so hard to implement?
Some people (especially beginners) feel that the only important thing in the development of a software or system is the period of code development.

The rest?
Well… they think it’s just a formality, the icing on the cake.
Worse, they feel that testing is not necessary since it’s so time consuming, and troublesome for programmers. (Who typically say something like: “Argh… when will my work be finished if the tester is never satisfied?”)

Well, since my work relates to testing, I have information about it that may encourage a tester.
